FINAL LESSON FOR 2020

Grades 3-5

This is the last lesson for 2020, I can hardly believe it! Remember, you can come back here over the summer if you want some music lessons.

The activities that I post are meant to be used many timesPlease go to the Past Lessons page and dive deeper and MASTER activities from before! If you are able and want to record an audio or video of yourself doing them, I would love it if you emailed them to me. An audio version can be recorded using the "Voice Memo" app, and a video version can be made using the Camera on an iPhone. (I don't know what to use on an Android).

Watch my farewell video for this year!

I want to challenge you a bit, and have you explore "found sounds". Check this video out, lots of great ideas!

"Found Sound Online Video Lesson" by Elementary Groove Tracks

"Once I Caught a Fish Alive" Found Sound Jam

Now, take some of the instruments you've found and play along with this song.

"Cup Rhythm Jam"

These cup games are AWESOME!  Once you learn this, see how fast you can do it––see who can do it fastest! Really fun!

Here's fun way to test your Rhythm Reading ability.

It's says it is for Grades 6-8, but I know  you can do it!

The Woodwinds Family

I think we did a good job looking at the String, Brass & Percussion Family instruments. I am now including Woodwinds Family instruments that you can play in the band in 6th grade.

Clarinet

Flute

Oboe

Piccolo

(Not a beginning band instrument, but good to know about.)
